Terms and conditions

This is a translation of the French version, which prevails in case of any discrepancy.

Version of 4 November 2026

Purpose

eDrumWork is an online electronic drum practice service: it offers exercises (grooves, programs), listens to your playing through a MIDI connection in the browser, and assesses its timing and dynamics.

These terms and conditions govern the use of the service and the paid subscription. The publisher of the service is identified in the legal notice. They complement the privacy policy, which describes the data processed. Creating an account or subscribing means that you have read and accepted them.

1. The service and its technical requirements

The service works in the Chrome and Edge browsers, over a secure connection (HTTPS). Connecting an instrument over MIDI is not available in other browsers, nor on iPhone and iPad. Before subscribing, it is up to you to check that your equipment works with the service: the kit diagnostic is free and lets you do this.

The service is in a test phase (beta): features may change, be added or be removed.

2. Your account

  • Your account is personal. It is created with a username, an email address and a password; the country is optional.
  • You are responsible for keeping your email address accurate and your password confidential.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen (see section 8).

3. What is free, what is reserved for subscribers

The kit diagnostic, the metronome and tempo variation remain free. The subscription gives full access to practice: playing grooves and programs and keeping track of your work. The current offer is presented on the Subscription page before any purchase.

4. Prices and payment

  • The subscription is offered monthly or yearly. The prices shown include taxes; the payment page may convert them into your country’s currency.
  • The sale is made by Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe group company acting as reseller (“Merchant of Record”): it collects the payment, issues the invoice and applies its own purchase terms to the sales contract. The payment appears on your statement as “LINK.COM*”.
  • eDrumWork never sees or stores your card details: they stay with Stripe.

5. Term and renewal

The subscription is taken out for the chosen period (one month or one year) and renews automatically at each due date, for the same period, until it is cancelled. The end of the current period is shown on the Subscription page.

6. Cancellation

  • You can cancel at any time from the Subscription page, using “Manage my subscription”, which opens Stripe’s customer area, or from your Link account at link.com.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: access remains open until that date, then no further payment is taken.

7. Withdrawal, refunds and payment incidents

  • As the sales contract is concluded with Sold through Link, the right of withdrawal and refunds are governed by its purchase terms, which include its refund policy. A refund is requested from Link support, by following its refund procedure.
  • If a payment fails at renewal, access reserved for subscribers is suspended until the payment succeeds; you can update your payment method from “Manage my subscription”. A paused subscription does not give access to reserved features during the pause.
  • A summary is available in the refund policy.

8. Deleting your account

  • You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen. Deletion erases your data and private content, as described in the privacy policy.
  • If a subscription is active, it is canceled immediately upon deletion, with no automatic refund of the current period; a refund can still be requested from Link support under section 7. The screen reminds you of this before any confirmation.
  • To keep using your subscription until it ends, cancel it first (section 6) and delete your account afterwards.
  • If Stripe cannot confirm the cancellation at the time of the request, the account is not deleted and a message tells you so: no charge may continue for a deleted account.

9. Content you publish

  • The grooves and programs you create remain private until you publish them.
  • By publishing content, you declare that you have the right to share it and you authorize eDrumWork to present it to other users of the service. Publications are moderated for quality and legality, never for level.
  • Published content remains visible to other users after your account is deleted, but is no longer linked to you.

10. Availability and liability

  • eDrumWork strives to keep the service accessible but cannot guarantee permanent availability: maintenance, updates or incidents may interrupt it.
  • Assessments (timing, dynamics) are practice aids: their accuracy depends on your equipment, its settings and the latency of your setup.

11. Personal data

The data processed and your rights are described in the privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may change along with the service. The version in force is the one published on this page, dated at the top; a change affecting an active subscription will be notified to you before it applies.

13. Complaints and mediation

  • For any complaint, use the contact form.
  • If your written complaint has not been resolved, you can refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: mediator currently being appointed.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable solution, consumers may bring the matter before the competent court of their choice under the conditions provided for by law.
